Spicy Battered Fried Jumbo Shrimps |
This is one eatery me and my family can not avoid liking. We dine here like once a month. Between the New Westminster and Vancouver store, we visit this particular Cantonese cuisine restaurant as often as once a month at least. There were occasions when we dined there like three times in a week. It is really a simple restaurant with simple Cantonese cuisines to chose from, simple to remember favorites because they hardly change their fridge and importantly simple price tags to remember from the menu.

And we tend to order the same cuisines each time we dine here. In fact, Cantonese cuisines can be easily predictable, no matter which Cantonese restaurant we dined in. At the least our favorite Cantonese cuisines seem the same everywhere we go eat. And depending on the number of people in our dining party, sometimes we order like five different cuisines but this time we only have three people. We were there for lunch, so we could only manage three different cuisines. That too was a lot considering one cuisine for each person. Anyway, like usual, the Cantonese cuisine was deliciously good.

The cuisines were so appetizing that we emptied all the three plates of cuisines. Plus, we also ordered a large tub of steam rice. which we also emptied. Amazing how much we ate. Probably may be because we were in Porteau Cove the would morning leading to this meal. And besides that we were really hungry. When one is hungry, everything taste super good. Also credit to HONS, they have been serving some of the best Cantonese cuisines in Vancouver for many years. Anyone living in Vancouver and are familiar with Cantonese cuisines would know of HONS.
