Keow Teow Fried with Tomato Ketchup

My wife learned a new recipe of Fried Keow Teow with Tomato Ketchup from the internet. It turns out to be really tasty and flavourful. Ketchup has one of the most appetizing taste among other sauce and dips. The main reason why the taste of ketchup is so appetizing and craving is because it fulfills the five basic taste buds in our mouth. The five taste buds on our tongue becomes fulfill with wonderful sensations when they are satisfied at the same time.

And tomato ketchup has exactly those properties to satisfy our taste buds. The producers of tomato ketchup sometimes enhance the taste of ketchup just to satisfy us, so that we will buy more. That is way we like Mamak mee goreng which has ketchup in the recipe. Anyway, the fried keow teow with tomato ketchup is simple, prepare the ingredients like shrimps, fish ball, chopped garlic, yu choy, tomatoes, and bean sprouts.

I like to fry one serving of the noodle at a time. Start with a spoon of cooking oil. And then, throw a pinch of chopped garlic into the cooking oil. Add shrimps and followed with bean sprouts. Add yu choy, cut tomatoes, and then the keow teow which was blanched earlier. Add about four spoons of tomato ketchup onto each serving of the noodle cuisine. The tomato ketchup alone will do the trick, no need for any other sauce.
