Simple Weekend Meal

Fried Sardines in Spicy Tomato Ketchup
We sometimes just open a few canned food and that would be our dinner. We have stocked up cans of food stuff just for travel and emergency purposes which have to be consumed once in a while before they reaches expiry. So, yesterday, we decided to open some of these canned food. I call them our simple meals. Other than emergency, we do consume quite a lot of canned food, especially canned coconut milk which we use for curry.

Fried Eggs and Bake Beans
Other types of canned food that we consume a lot are the ham and tuna fish. We fry ham to make sandwiches that I bring to work for lunch. And also use canned tuna fish for curry or simply making sandwiches. The canned sardines in tomato ketchup is a good addition in fish curry. Bake beans is another favorite of the family. We often have bake beans for breakfast. We crack an egg or two into a pan and add bake beans onto it. When we go camping, we cook these canned food.
