Fried Noodles and Three Recipe Chicken Wings

Salt and Pepper Fried Chicken Wings
My youngest kid invited some friends over for dinner after school yesterday. With the short notice, we have to put together something really quick. So, I got going with preparing the stuff for fried noodles and my wife, she thawed some chicken wings for frying or roasting. As, there were not enough time to marinate all of the chicken wings so we separated the chicken wings to be cooked in three different recipe. Therefore, we split them into three groups.

Spicy Sweet and Sour Fried Chicken Wings
One group of the chicken wings were simply rubbed with salt and pepper. The second was marinated with barbecue sauce. And the third group was simply mixed and coated with corn flour and fried in cooking oil. The chicken wings that were rubbed with salt and pepper were fried plain in cooking oil and served as is. The second batch of chicken wings were roasted in the oven for about twenty five minutes at three hundred eighty degrees celsius.

Barbecue Chicken Wings
The third group of chicken wings were fried and then dipped in home made spicy sweet and sour sauce. The kids seem to favour the spicy sweet and sour fried chicken wings more than the others. It was probably the sugar in the spicy sweet and sour sauce that delighted the kids' taste buds. Eventually, the they finished up all the chicken wings and left a small portion of fried noodles. I was impressed with their ability to consume so much chicken wings in one serving. I was initially concerned that they may not be able to finish all the chicken wings.
