Donuts, Pizza and Fried Chicken

Jollibee's Fried Chicken
We had a small group gathering one day before we headed home for Canada. And since we were meeting in a friend's apartment and it was not convinient to cook, we settled for take outs. To start with, we did not have very much time, and since we wanted our friends to try some of the fast food we have discovered in California, it was better to just do take outs. I guess, some of our Californian friends may not have even tried or heard of Jollibee which we checked was not available anywhere near their homes.

Costco's Pepperoni Pizza
This gathering would be an excellent chance for our friends to try some of the best food available in California that they did not even realized. Other than, introducing them to Jollibee's fried chicken, we also grabbed a large pizza from Costco which happened to be just within a few miles from the place we were going to meet. One of my kids that went to purchased the pizza, selected the pepperoni pizza which was the most meaty of the three selections available.

Krispy Kreme Donuts
When we arrived at the friend's home, he had already bought three dozens of sugar glazed donuts from krispy kreme, not knowing that the brand is also available in Canada. With the pizza, three buckets of fried chicken, and the donuts, there were just too much to eat. And I ate the most pieces of donut in any one time that day because I did not want the food to go to waste. Still, at the end of it all, there were donuts and fried chicken leftovers.
